Terms and Conditions
1.1 All goods and services supplied by Rea Workshops to the customer will be upon these terms of trade unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.2 When you complete your booking through the website you will be asked to confirm you accept our terms & conditions
1.3 If you have questions about any of these terms & conditions please feel free to call us before you book your class.
2. Payment, Cancellation & Transfer Policy
2.1 Payment
Our booking system accepts bookings via the website on a first come first served basis.
Your payment is required at the time of booking via Debit Card/ Credit Card or bank transfer. We accept Visa or Mastercard Credit Card. We do not accept bookings without payment in full. Your PDF tax receipt will be emailed.
2.2 Cancellation Policy
Attendance is confirmed by receipt of payment. As dates can book out, we are not responsible if your chosen date is unavailable.
Rea Workshops has a cancellation policy or no-show policy, as below:
Public Workshop / Individual Trainee Registrations:
Less than 3 working days prior to workshop No refund
3 - 5 working days prior to workshop date 25% refund or transfer to another workshop date at 50% discount (at the sole discretion of Rea Workshops)
6 working days or more prior to workshop date full refund less $80 administrative charge
No show on the day* 100% charge *Should you/your employee(s) not attend the workshop, without prior notification to Rea Workshops, we offer no refund.
If a workshop does not reach minimum numbers or, for some other unavoidable reason is cancelled, the fee will be refunded in full.
If the attendee needs to leave the workshop after it has started then no refund is applicable. Another date will be offered at a reduced rate.

2.3 Workshop Transfer Policy
Customers/registrants may transfer to another workshop three (3) business days or more prior to the workshop start date. No fee will be refunded should there be a difference in price, and if there is any additional charge for the new workshop payment is required for the difference prior to the workshop date.
2.4 Expenses and Legal Costs
Any expenses, disbursements and legal costs incurred by Rea Workshopsin the enforcement of any rights contained in these terms of trade will be paid by the customer, including any reasonable solicitor’s fees or debt collection agency fees.
3. Provision of Services
3.1 Rea Workshops will:
(a) Use all reasonable skill and care in providing the goods and services in a timely and efficient manner.
(b) Not be liable for any delay or non-performance providing goods or services if the delay or non-performance is attributable (directly or indirectly) to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
(c) Satisfy all operational safety and regulatory requirements.
3.2 The participant / customer will co-operate with and act appropriately to provide assistance to Rea Workshops to enable it to deliver the services.
In particular the participant / customer will: Ensure compliance with any and all Health & Safety directions and act in accordance with the Health and Safety at work 2015 act.
4. Liability and Indemnity
4.1 With the exception of express warranties contained in these terms of trade, all warranties and representations in respect of goods and services supplied are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
4.2 In no event will Rea Workshopsbe liable to the participant / customer or any other party for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly in connection with Rea Workshopsservices /materials and goods, their use, misuse or otherwise including (but without limitation) any loss of profit, business, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings.
4.3 Rea Workshopswill not be liable to the participant / customer or any other party for consequential, special, punitive or exemplary loss, damage or liability arising directly or indirectly out of or related to the agreement and provision, performance of or failure to perform the services by Rea Workshopswhether in contract, tort (negligence), for breach of statutory duty or any other principle of legal liability.
5. Copyright Notice and Confidentiality
5.1 By accepting this material, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms. All materials used in this training workshop/course are confidential. By accepting materials, facilitators and course participants acknowledge that the information contained in them is confidential.
5.2 Extracts copied from publications are intended for the exclusive use of Rea Workshops staff and students attending Rea Workshops courses. Reprinted material is expressly included for the sole purposes of research, review, criticism and private study by staff conducting, and students attending this course.
5.3 Any form of copying or reproduction is a breach of the terms and subject to the “permitted acts” provided for in the Copyright act 1994, is expressly prohibited, without prior authorisation of the copyright owner.
5.4 The participant / customer agrees and acknowledges that Rea Workshops is the owner and/or licensee of the material used within the workshops and is provided to the participant / customer and that the customer obtains no rights and or interests in such intellectual property by virtue of its purchase of the services and /or goods from IVS Training Ltd.
5.5 To encourage open discussion, questions and real life examples, all parties attending the workshops agree not to discuss or disclose outside the confines of the workshop any information pertaining to any individuals or company information.
5.6 Neither party will disclose information which is confidential to another party to a third party unless compelled to do so by law.
6. Miscellaneous
6.1 These Terms of Trade will be governed by the laws in New Zealand and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New Zealand.
