About Us
Rea Workshops named in honour of Natalie’s tūpuna, Rea Thomson. In te reo Māori, 'Rea' means 'growth,' symbolising our mission to foster growth and development in workplace relationships.
At Rea Workshops, we are passionate about equipping leaders with the tools and confidence to navigate employment relations effectively. We believe that strong workplace relationships are the foundation of a thriving team and a successful business.
Natalie McConnell - I am a firm believer that people work and learn best when they feel engaged, empowered, and understand the "why" behind what they do. My strengths lie in team building, coaching, and delivering dynamic learning experiences with energy and fun.
With a Bachelor of Education (Adult Ed), a Diploma in Tikanga, and extensive experience in training and managing teams, I bring both expertise and a hands-on approach to workplace learning. I use tools like the Emotional Culture Deck to create meaningful results and positive change in workplaces.
My skills include designing training programs tailored to learners’ needs, fostering effective communication, and guiding teams toward success. As part of my own journey, I regularly attend wānanga at my marae, Te Kōpua, in the Waipā region, drawing inspiration and insight to enrich the work I do..
